After an alien faction known as the Invadakrian Empire returns to invade Earth after thousands of years, war veteran Cole Maverick and Atlantian warrior Nos Ferratu engage in a thousand-year war against the Empire and the megalomaniacal Emperor who rules it. As they do so, however, the two also continue to advance humanity and discover what lies beyond the universe around them.
